Step-by-Step Guide to Deleting Your NSFAS Account

If for some reason you have to delete your NSFAS account the procedure to do so is explained here. Before we jump to the procedure let me tell you that deleting your account means that you are no more on their system. 

This means that no information and data about you and your funds will be available on the forum which means you will not get funds anymore. There could be several reasons you need to delete your profile.

Ways to Delete NSFAS Account

To delete your NSFAS profile, you simply have to cancel your application because the organization does not allow you to entirely delete your profile online. No applicant can delete their account on their end, instead, they can cancel their application to stop receiving funds for whatever reasons they want to cancel and delete their account. 

Once you delete your application NSFAS will receive the information about you and will delete your profile on their own. They will receive a deletion request from you and then the administration of the organization will delete your account on its own. 

To delete your profile you have to do to, 

• Visit the official website of NSFAS by clicking on nsfas.org.za.
• Then you have to enter your login details and click on “Enter” to reach your account. 
• Now look for the option saying “Track My Funding Progress.”
• Here you will see the option to “Cancel My Application.”
• Now click on it.
• As soon as you click on it, NSFAS will cancel all the applications from your side but will have your profile saved. 
• Now if you want to permanently delete your account you can put in a request from your side to the organization and they will do it on their own.
